Configure who sees print job thumbnails

🔎 Admin console: Print Security > Privacy & Compliance > Thumbnail visibility

📄 Thumbnails are miniature previews of the first page. You can read all about them in Print document previews and print job thumbnails. Or learn more about securing your print environment.

Steps

To set the thumbnail option:

  1. Go to Print Security > Privacy & Compliance > Thumbnail visibility. The Privacy & Compliance panel is displayed.
  2. Select one of the three options:
    • Admin & user - The admin can see all thumbnails in the Job Log and the user can see them.
    • Print user only - Only the print user can see thumbnails.
    • No one - Disable thumbnail generation.
  3. Click Save changes.
